Choices At startup, Auto Catalog will check to see if Ventura is running, and if not, start it. If it is running, Auto Catalog with automatically look at the active publication (template) and read the stylesheet. A powerful feature of Ventura automation allows Ventura to run in the background (that is, invisibly). And it's incredibly fast, since it doesn't have to update the screen display with each action. When AutoCatalog starts Ventura, an optional checkbox will allow a user to determine if Ventura is visible or not. Next, the user selects the text file to be processed. This single file, normally a pre-tagged, ASCII text file, contains all text and references to graphics. The user simply selects the default Page and Frame tags, clicks Process File, and Auto Catalog does the rest. The Settings button reveals a dialog box that contains familiar options and choices (see below).
