In the past, to create this layout a user would have had to either manually flow text into each frame, or use a single text file with graphics held in place by anchors.
Auto Catalog is frame oriented. Each frame is a separate entity that can be easily moved in a final manual edit process. Previously, moving or changing the length of text in a single text-file would cause it to re-flow through the entire document.
